Owen Howells was born in 1986 in the UK and moved with his family to Australia in the 90’s. It was here Owen’s love for electronic music and hedonistic underground parties was born.
At a young age Owen was exposed to music through his parents and played piano & drums, later joining high school bands.
Owen got his first pair of turntables at the age of 15 and quickly became engrossed in DJing & music, drawing influence from many genres such as hip hop, folk & reggae.
After a several years traveling around Asia, Australia & Europe Owen’s now based back in the UK and has set up his studio in lively Southeast London.
2010 & 2011 have seen Owen’s production debut. With releases on Muchiq, Wunderkammer, Brickbat & Toffler music. Owen’s production style is made up tight production techniques with a bizarre boundary-pushing feel to please even the most discerning of house & techno listeners
