Listen to previews.

For the original track Simina Grigoriu has teamed up with BB Deng who has previously provided a solo contribution to Kuukou, and also remixed the The YellowHeads on their label Reload Black.
BB Deng made a name for herself in China where she owns her own club The Boat. She also organised many events and festivals in the country before relocating to Berlin where she met Simina Grigoriu.
Simina Grigoriu along with her many releases on Kuukou Records has also featured tracks and remixes on a labels ranging from Popof’s Form to Paul Kalkbrenner Musik.
Alberto Ruiz has close links to Pig&Dan having released on their label Elevate and collaborated on music with them. He has also featured on many other labels such as Suara, Transmit, Relief and his own Stickrecordings, amongst lots more of a similar calibre.
Rounding off the artists on the release is AlBird, who has previously showcased his talents on imprints such as Set About and BluFin.
The original cut “Double Trouble” has pulsating synths and thrashing hi-hats at the heart of its peak time groove that has just a hint of euphoria. Alberto Ruiz builds on the energy with the addition of some fast-flowing percussion, and his own lead synth brings a sinister vibe to the track. Finishing off the tracks here is the acid-tinged and explosive remix from AlBird.

It\’s time to talk real techno music, so here we go. Markantonio is back on his own label AnalyticTrail with the imprints very special 100th release that features his new track called “Cento\”.  Alongside with his new track, comes out remixes from German duo Kaiserdisco, that their rework reaches a crescendo after the main breakdown where its slick sound flows at full velocity. And the Spartaque remix, that get \”cento\” fuelled by claps and aggressive vocal stabs. Everything good and real, techno how we like it!

Oficial release of \”Cento EP\” is due to Friday 11 October 2019 on AnalyticTrail in digital formats. So stay tuned and read below for full details.

Previews soon…

Overview. Markantonio is back on his own label AnalyticTrail with the imprints very special 100th release that features his new track called “Cento\”, which is accompanied by remixes from Kaiserdisco and Spartaque.
AnalyticTrail owner Markantonio has also featured his hard hitting techno tracks on other labels such as Unrilis, Intec, Second State and Tronic.
This new one marks a century of releases from AnalyticTrail, and there are high hopes of 100 more still to come, as its back catalogue features music from some of the world’s best techno artists ranging from Joseph Capriati to Wehbba.
With a career spanning over two decades, many know Markantonio as an iconic artist who played a large role in pioneering techno in Italy, as he helped lay foundations that have developed the country’s club scene into a breeding ground for fresh talent.
Equally as respected are German duo Kaiserdisco, who have featured their tracks and remixes on influential imprints ranging from Drumcode to Elevate. Also highly respected DJ’s, they travel the world preforming headline sets at both clubs and festival alike.
Spartaque completes the set of top flight artists who feature on this high profile release. Based in Ukraine, he is the label owner of Codex Recordings, but he has also featured on many of techno’s other leading labels including Phobiq and Terminal M.
Opening the release is the original mix of “Cento”, which takes no time to get going with its high energy, groove filled, fiery acid and fast-flowing rhythms. Straight to the point, the pounding kick drum only relents for the compelling melody introduced in the breakdown before the two merge with an explosive energy.
First up on remix duty is Kaiserdisco who subdue the original\’s ferocity and focus on working in slow building tension that unravels amidst brooding atmospherics. Ramping up the momentum, their rework reaches a crescendo after the main breakdown where its slick sound flows at full velocity.
Closing out the EP with a punishing remix, Spartaque takes no prisoners when he delivers his slice of peak time techno that’s both raw and impactful. Seemingly unstoppable, his version of Cento knows no limits and fuelled by claps and aggressive vocal stabs, it’s got a compelling style perfect for the dance floor, but certainly not for the faint hearted.

Hello friends, in this blog we always try to understand and analyze the concept of sound itself, where it comes from and the harmony it generates when it is produced and molded. Undoubtedly, the following announcement and release will leave you with that curiosity, as it is a masterpiece of sound, as a raw material, to achieve a visceral and multidimensional experience.

We are talking about Neel’s debut collaborative album with multi-disciplinary artist Filippo Scorcucchi under their LF58 moniker.

Neel is behind Voices From The Lake with Donato Dozzy & has released on labels such as Editions Mego/Spectrum Spools, Semantica, Token just to name a few.

In 2015 he began his collaboration with Filippo Scorcucchi & the duo founded the live electronic project LF58 & presented their first release on ASC’s Auxiliary imprint on 2017. Elegantly interwoven by one another, the modular systems they have built strike the balance between soul & machine, combining to create one body of intelligence. With recent shows including Café OTO, Draaimolen & Freerotation festivals.

This upcoming album has been entitled \”Alterazione\” and it basically presents a critical statement – distinguished by its technical execution and breathtaking artistry. The album itself is a cathedral of sound, each cavernous chamber an exploration of space and consciousness. Presented in four movements (one track per side), altogether they extend as a transportive experience of evolution for the listener. The album was mastered by the legendary sound engineer Noel Summerville.

LF58 are set to release their debut album ‘Alterazione\’ on Astral Industries on 6th April 2020 in Vinyl and Digital formats. Stay tuned and read below for full details.

Overview. With recent shows including Café OTO, Draaimolen and Freerotation festivals, LF58 are set to release their debut album on Astral Industries on 6th April 2020. Alterazione presents a critical statement – distinguished by its technical execution and breathtaking artistry. The album itself is a cathedral of sound, each cavernous chamber an exploration of space and consciousness. Presented in four movements (one track per side), altogether they extend as a transportive experience of evolution for the listener.
‘Iniziazione’ – a steady departure that unfurls like the opening of a portal; a process of molecular transfiguration commences. Panoramic landscapes begin to stretch wide, glistening with an exotic beauty, before the shamanic incantations of ‘Rituale’ draws things deeper. Pulsating rotations push through the next phase of transformation, now drenched in hyperspace whitenoise. The procedure continues through the quiet ethereal orbit of ‘Metamorfosi’, before finishing with the three-part ‘Evocazione:Contatto:Risveglio‘; uplifting synth motifs drive forward with optimism, before fading back into the great expanse.
Alterazione is both cerebral and meditative, and one cannot help but be pulled at the core by its potency. The album was mastered by the legendary sound engineer Noel Summerville, who elevates the music to a new visceral and multidimensional experience.

This one goes for the techno heads! in my particular case i have been following Tom Hades since i start enjoying techno music a long time ago. Good news because he is back, this time under the Russian imprint Korpus 9, who have had releases from Dubspeeka and Robert S (PT) recently.

The DJ/producer has a gargantuan techno lexicon and is adding to it with this beat bashing EP Acrab. By definition Acrab is the star on the Head of the Scorpion and meaning, \’the Tree of the Garden of Light \’, \”placed in the midst of the abyss.\” Truly fitting as although there is fluttering brouhaha within the percussions, a sensitive melody shines through these tracks.

The Belgian is one of the locomotives in the techno scene, having released on some of the biggest labels such as Drumcode and Sleaze Records. This 4 track EP delivers that sound that is synonymous with the artist, heavy basslines coupled with catchy melodies. The EP title track comes in with an ominous synth and followed with closed hi hats. It lays a slick bassline that is immersed with ever fluctuating elements that scatter. Although the percussions are chaotic, the synths are clear and rhythmic.

Acrab EP is due for vinyl release March 29th and digitally April 4th.

Previews soon…

Overview. Korpus 9 return with another powerful EP, this time from Tom Hades. The Belgium based artist is a driving force in the scene and has elapsed on all the biggest labels from ELEVATE to Drumcode.

Here he kicks off with Acrab, a blistering number with deft synths and floating drums that really get you in a trance. Biham then gets more intense, with layer upon layer of icy synth and bright lights emitting from the pads in the background. Chara then shows off busy drum work, with organic hits and suspense filled grooves that take you on a real adventure, then Dubhe hits you over the head with more blistering drums and warm bass. It\’s a fantastic way to close an essential EP.

Big news for hard techno lovers, Kittin as his original moniker, most knwon as Miss Kittin in the late times, is announcing a new album entitled \”Cosmos\”. In some interesting facts, the label says, she\’s releasing the album under the name Kittin, to make honor to the original name she picked at the outset of her career over two decades ago, wich in fact promoters often added the prefix \”Miss\” without her consent, and the name eventually stuck over 20 years of career now. The label also says that with this partiular release \”she opens the door to a new set of aesthetics, exploring her influences without restraint.\” Nobody\’s Bizness Records will release Cosmos on November 2, 2018 on Dark Entries Records and Zebralution, preceded by the release of the single Cosmic Address on September 28, 2018, so stay tuned.

In a little overview, \”Cosmos\” sees the French artist step away from traditional songwriting to focus on \”the essence of chords and textures,\” some may say that this is Kittin´s most spiritual side, influenced by her time in the French countryside after a bout of touring exhaustion. She gives up any formulas from her past; verses/chorus, pop or club beats, to come to the essence of chords and textures, peeling away the non-essential to find joy in music yet again.

Something about Dave Clarke:
When his parents split, he ran away from home, sleeping rough in car-parks before a friend offered him floor-space. The only thing that kept him going was music. From soul to the Psychedelic Furs, from Devo to the nascent Chicago house sound, Clarke devoured it all voraciously and blagged himself a DJ slot in Brighton. Soon such gigs provided Clarke with a meagre living, then in 1994 his reputation was sealed by a series of EPs known collectively as ‘Red’. The debut album ‘Archive 1’ followed, flecked with hints of breakbeat and electronica, a novelty in the puritanical techno scene of the time.

His mix CDs included the two best-selling ‘World Service’ outings (one of which made it into the top ten of best mix compilations of the 00\’s in Resident Advisor) which showcased his dual love for electro and techno, and he briefly signed to Skint Records, resulting in 2004’s ‘Devils Advocate’ album, a long-player jammed with dark techno energy but laced with hip hop beats. When his production pace ebbed Music Man Records gathered together ‘Remixes And Rareties’ in 2007, making Album Of The Month in Mixmag and receiving critical plaudits all over. There is, however, no denying things eventually went quiet on the production front.
Clarke greets this with a dramatic pause. “If I’d stepped into a studio then I could have done what I’d already done but I didn’t want to do that, I want to do something I haven’t done.” He pauses again before going on. “I think it’ll happen,” he allows, “I’m not going to leave it forever…”
In the meantime he has plenty else on. Moving finally from rural sedate Sussex to Amsterdam revitalized him.
“I felt quite excluded when I lived in the countryside,” he admits, “whereas my home in Amsterdam is a fifteen minute walk from most venues so I’ve seen Patti Smith, Queens Of The Stone Age, The Horrors, Holy Fuck!. There’s no excuse not to go so that’s very inspiring.”
He’s also built up his White Noise radio show on the Dutch station 3FM (also archived at the award-winning http://3voor12.vpro.nl), interviewing artists ranging from John Foxx to Coldcut to Broken Social Scene but the thrust of the show is still to cast light on exciting new music.
“The most important point is to air music that other stations and DJs don’t have the power to,” he says, “music that wouldn’t normally be given a chance. I can just go where I want with it although it’s still 99% techno and electro.”
The same applies to his White Noise label. Emphatically not a vanity project for his own releases, it has instead hosted boutique vinyl pressings (alongside the usual digital fare) for gleaming new material by artists such as Frank Kusserov, Noirdegout, Woody McBride, Marco Bernadi, Terence Fixmer and The Hacker. These and other tunes will be chopped, hammered, filleted and turned on their heads during Clarke’s DJ sets. That’s where he comes alive, where skills honed for years blow venues apart. A 2009 highlight, for instance, was the fifteenth birthday party of FUSE, the Brussels club where his standing is second-to-none, where he’s developed an extraordinary relationship with the crowd. He speaks of it with his breath catching, as thrilled as ever by the ride the music takes him on.

Something about Alan Fitzpatrick:
So far, 2012 has seen Alan progress on all fronts with his output for Drumcode in particular working to elevate his status as a maturing and dynamic producer capable of bringing stylistic variety to his productions. The release of his ‘Life Through Different Eyes’ EP powerfully demonstrated the range of Fitzpatrick’s inspiration and the inventiveness in the studio that inspires him to create universally popular techno records that stand out from the norm. Whether he is adding diva-like vocals to cavernous beat workouts (“Always Something For Nothing’) or fusing emotive chord sequences with his trademark heavy-funk sound (‘Prometheus’) there is a uniqueness to Alan Fitzpatrick productions that ensures his star remains on the rise.

Alan Fitzpatrick productions have dominated the techno scene since his emergence in 2008 with Alan\’s partnership with Adam Beyer\’s Drumcode label producing his most significant work to date; releasing the universally supported ‘Human Reason’ collaboration alongside Beyer; four chart topping EP\’s (‘Static’, ‘Face Of Rejection’, ‘Insurgent Series’, ‘Life Through Different Eyes’); his 2010 ‘Shadows In The Dark’ album and contributing tracks to the labels ‘15 Year’s Of Drumcode’ and ‘A-Sides’ compilations plus remixes of Adam Beyer’s classic ‘Remainings III’ and Ben Sim’s ‘Riots In London’. Elsewhere, Fitzpatrick’s releases for Bedrock (‘Reflections’, ‘Moon Palace’) and his own 8 Sided Dice imprint (‘First Times’ collaboration with Cari Lekebusch, ‘Blixx’, ‘The Heist’, ‘Straw Hats’, ‘Amsterdam’, ‘9 Hours Later’) have raised the UK producers profile to a level where his remix services have been recruited by John Digweed, Slam, Cari Lekebusch, Joey Beltram and Timo Maas.

The same unstoppable momentum has come to characterize Alan\’s style of techno; powering demand for his music worldwide, and filling his gig diary with weekends spent touring Europe, North America and South America as a bonafide member of techno\’s producer vanguard. Focusing on his trademark sound of tough, hooky grooves and incendiary beats, Alan is an intuitive and dynamic DJ who is enjoying the new lease of life that Pioneer’s CDJ2000 players have brought to the art of DJing. Alan’s big-room techno sound has seen him consistently draw crowds in Germany (Tresor, Club Lehmann, Universal DOG), France (Rex, Inox, Spartacus, S’Kandalo) The Netherlands (Paradiso, Westerunie, Sugar Factory, Doornroosje, Poema), UK (Fabric including NYE 2011, Electric Brixton w/ Carl Cox), Italy (Old River Park, Make Some Noize), USA (Basic New York, Incognito Los Angeles, Treehouse Miami), Canada (Piknic Electronik Montreal), Switzerland (La Zoo, D-Club, Das Schiff) and Eastern Europe (Global Gathering Ukriane, Sziget Hungary, Kazantip Ukraine) plus Drumcode events at SW4 Festival London, Berghain Berlin, PollerWeisen Cologne, Solar Festival Holland, Ewer Street Warehouse London.

Something by Alan Fitzpatick: 2011 was the year Alan Fitzpatrick made the transition to become a globally recognized talent. Having enjoyed a rapid ascent since his emergence as the new kid on the techno block in the latter half of 2008, Fitzpatrick now enjoys a status as a highly respected and in-demand producer and DJ. Asked to compile a coveted BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix in November 2011, Alan responded with a two-hour snaps
hot of exclusive productions and unreleased tracks that generated an overwhelmingly positive reaction from old and new fans alike. Coming off the back of high profile releases for Adam Beyer’s Drumcode (including the ‘Human Reason’ collaboration with Beyer himself) as well as releases on John Digweed’s Bedrock label (‘Moon Palace’ was awarded a BBC Radio 1 Essential New Tune’) and Alan’s own 8 Sided Dice imprint (Alan’s ‘First Times’ collaboration with techno pioneer Cari Lekebusch was the 2011 highlight) there can be few followers of techno worldwide who would not recognize Alan Fitzpatrick as one of the most influential artists of the moment.

So far, 2012 has seen Alan progress on all fronts with his output for Drumcode in particular working to elevate his status as a maturing and dynamic producer capable of bringing stylistic variety to his productions. 2010 has certainly been the year that 23 year old Maya Jane Coles announced herself as one of the most talented up and coming artists in electronic music.
In the years preceding a steady output of techy cuts on labels such as Dogmatik and 1trax simmered away catching the attention of cluded up heads and savy A&R people alike. It was her debut EP on Franck Roger’s Real Tone though that ignited the fire of hype and boosted her profile on the global stage receiving heavy support from the house & techno elite. Aside from being hammered repeatedly on the worlds most happening dance floors ‘What They Say’ reached the number 1 spot on across the board; Beatport Deep House Chart No. 1, Tarxsource top download & Resident Advisors most charted tracks for October. It’s safe to say the release won the hearts and heads of fans and critics a like and a landmark year was topped off with a nomination for Best Breakthrough Producer nomination in the DJ Mag Best of British awards.
Not one to fall victim to the pitfalls of being one of the scenes ‘buzz names’, Maya has built on her flourishing reputation with a slew of gigs across Europe holding her own alongside world renounced DJs. So much so her schedule for 2011 is already jam packed with dates across Europe; London’s Fabric, Batofar, Watergate, not to mention iconic Glastonbury Festival, just a few of the destinations.
Maya’s productions take’s influence from a diverse range of musical styles and British – Japanese heritage. Her talents are by no means confided to realms of house and techno. Under the guise of her live dub/electronica outfit, ‘She Is Danger (alongside the multi-instrumentalist/singer Lena Cullen) she has remixed the likes of Massive Attack and Gorillaz and fans of her Dubstep Product under the name Noctural Sunshine include key tastemakers, Joy Orbison and Sucba to name a few.
As well as her trademark bass heavy approach Maya’s diversity as a producer also shines through in productions under her own name as well. Climbing high in Beatport’s ‘Chillout’ top 100 tracks from her stunning ‘Humming Bird’ EP on Hypercolour showcase her blissful vocals and ability to create songs and not just music for the dance floor. Forthcoming EPs on Anja Schneider’s Mobilee Records and for a number highly anticipated exclusives will no doubt elevate her status even further.
A bright talent with more than a couple of strings to her bow Maya Jane Coles is only just getting started.

Something about Dandi & Ugo

The Dandi & Ugo duo is born from a strong friendship and a great passion for techno music. It is their native land (Romagna) that takes them to frequent and, successively, perform in Rimini and Riccione\’s clubs in their most magic period (beginning of 90s). After a decade of DJ sets in clubs such as, among others, Echoes Liz Club / Cocorico\’ / Pascia\’ /Ecu / Peter pan / Classic Club / Madame Butte …rfly, they decide to switch to production thus starting a new adventure that takes them to realize records, initially with prestigious Italian labels ( Re>>Vox records / Stereo Seven Plus Records )
and next european labels ( Lasergun / Great Stuff / LuxaFlex records /Artminimal Berlin / Sammeplantz / Immigrant ) with a big success with creations from artists such as Richie Hawtin/Len Faki/Mihalis Safras / Florian Meindl / Marc Houle /Gregor Tresher / Someone Else
/ Xpansul / John Aquaviva /Martin Eyerer / Butch / Mauro Picotto / Markantonio /Joseph Capriati / Claudio Coccoluto / and many others. In 2006, together with Alessandro Piatto ( N.O.I.A / Klein & Mbo) they decide to open their own label. This starts the birth of ITALO BUSINESS RECORDS, a project divided into 4 parts:
vinyl, net label, digital download and booking agency.
The discovery of new artists worldwide, and the support of internationally known DJs, makes of this label a referring point for the Techno movement.
