Hamburg-based Ben Champell is back at OFF Recordings offering us two pieces of functional and catchy Techno. His upcoming EP has been entitled ‘Close To You‘ due out April 22, 2022 digitally. Since 2012 Ben has been always productive, he composed over 200 original tracks and did remixes for artists like Drumcomplex, Belocca, Ash Roy or Ornis (Italy). The latest releases on the market were on big labels like Complexed Records, BluFin Records, Le Club Records, Artist Veerus, Blufin Records, Railroad Recordings, and now he is back at one of his favorites, OFF recordings.
Tracks descriptions.
First track ‘Close To You’ gives prominent feature to the name-giving vocal sample, joined by a tight combination of groove and synth-stabs. Second track ‘Poison Alley’ introduces a chord theme, to similarly functional effect.
