Dana Montana presents her new single ‘Speedkiller, due out on July 8th, 2022 in all digital formats via HE.SHE.THEY. The track has a remix from label regular Wax Wings set to follow later this year.
‘Speedkiller’ is Dana’s second track ever released, and features her friend Kim Peers on the vocals. In this track, Dana “wanted to make a potion of our vibes: hers, which is more dark and mysterious with mine, which is more light and breezy.” Definitely a track that must be in our selected releases of July. Born in Zaporozhye, Ukraine, rising Belgium-based DJ and producer Dana Montana is quickly establishing herself as a name at the heart of Antwerp’s LGBTQ+ scene and beyond. With a sound palette fusing hard house and trance through to heavy techno and hardcore, all inspired by the 90s and early 00s, their role as a resident of the audacious Drag Me To Hell club nights has seen them grow as a name to watch for many. Having made their production debut last year on RAW, they now head to HE.SHE.THEY. for a blistering label debut with the scintillating ‘Speedkiller’.
“I’m very happy to release my new work under the wings of HE.SHE.THEY., a family of so many various and iconic artists. I played at their event in Berlin last November, and I instantly felt very at home around that team, so once I had my demo ready, I didn’t hesitate to send it to them!”
