AM.I is a rising star of the European techno scene, and her new EP entitled ‘Distorted Life‘ comes via the MJA the Vision record label.

Having performed DJ sets at festivals such as Tomorrowland in her home country of Belgium, AM.I is known for her mesmerising style that’s a blend of melody rich synths and pounding drums.

When it comes to producing music, AM.I has earned a well-deserved reputation for creating spine-tingling tracks that are full of suspense. This is her first time releasing on MJA the Vision, and her previous music has been featured on the likes of Metodi Hristov’s Set About.

The EP’s title track, “Distorted Life” kicks off proceedings with its rumbling low-end and dramatic assortment of dark effect sounds. A monstrous acid synth bursts out the speaker, as the uplifting pads contrast against the aggressive energy of the groove.

Second is the throbbing bassline and shivering melodies of “Low Tension” which has a change of pace compared to the fast-paced energy of the previous track. Deeper and more atmospheric, it still has a dance floor focused energy, but its immersive textures and interstellar vibe create an invigorating listening experience.
