Massimo Logli presents his new EP ‘Kang’ that features three original tracks with thumping techno grooves.
All of the music on this release is peak time techno with fast-paced rhythms and tension building synths. There are also cinematic elements that give the music a standout sound by adding epic atmosphere to the driving energy of the groove.
“Kang” is the EP’s title track, and in the breakdown, its acid synths plus earth-shaking bassline are joined by angelic piano chords and ethereal vocal tones. In some ways it’s reminiscent of classics such as Robert Miles’ “Children” that many may remember.
“Biham” is an acid track with two synth lines playing call and response with each other, while the hammering kick drum carries the groove. Dramatic pads give the track the cinematic feel that was mentioned earlier, and the euphoric breakdown adds to its exhilarating energy.
“Anser” fuses dark and light emotions with the uplifting tones of the melody and dark suspense of the ominous atmosphere. Its strong melody surrounds the powerful momentum of the drums.
This release comes via Massimo Logli’s own record label Superba, and each of the tracks have top class production.
