Gabry Ponte collaborates with AVAO on a thundering hard-techno single “Fuera” that’s out on his record label PENTAPHONIA Records.
Gabry Ponte & AVAO new release is a fiery track in the style of other producers such as Klangkuenstler.
Klangkuenstler is an artist that some might not expect to be compared to Gabry Ponte and AVAO, as traditionally the artists behind this release are known for their trance/mainstage style.
AVAO are a Dutch duo who have worked alongside the likes of Hardwell before this collaboration with Italian artist Gabry Ponte.
Those who have tracked the career of Gabry Ponte will know about his trance/mainstage releases, which have been released on iconic labels such as Spinnin’ Records, Armada and Ministry of Sound. Before his DJ career, Gabry Ponte was a founding member of ‘90s pop band Eiffel 65.
This release comes via Gabry Ponte’s own record label PENTAPHONIA, which is a label he has setup to release his techno focused productions, and via the imprint he has released tracks made in collaboration with the likes of Sisko Electrofanatik and T78.
“Fuera” is the first time that Gabry Ponte has collaborated with AVAO, who themselves are an accomplished duo, primarily known as trance/mainstage artists with releases on record labels ranging from Revealed Recordings to Armada.
Wasting no time, “Fuera” launches into a fast-paced groove with weighty percussion and a slamming kick drum, which forms a framework for the distorted tones of the compelling vocals. The chanting aggression of the looped vocals adds to the relentless ferocity of this track, which is cut by screaming synths that add dramatic moments of extreme intensity.
