Orion Biography
Orion (Juska Wendland), born in 23rd of February 1980, is a DJ and techno music producer from Helsinki, Finland. Orion comes originally from Tampere and he has made a significant influence in the club music culture in Northern Finland, especially in Rovaniemi, between years 2001 and 2006.
Starting 2011, DJ Orion has had his own radio show in the national Finnish radio station YleX on Fridays, and he has been as a broadcaster in multiple DJ shows at YleX between years 2008 and 2010. Orion also works in Misc. Management, which is the oldest DJ agent office specialized in club music in Finland.
Orion published his debut single One Sunday on 30th of March 2009. The song “Chill-out” appearing on the single was produced together with his brother Joonas Mikkilä.
