COVID-19 got you Social distancing? Moog and Korg have made their synth apps free to keep you occupied and making music.

Hello friends, let\’s give some time to talk about the COVID-19 (coronavirus), because this uncontrolled virus has definitely brought all of us bizarre times. The cancellation of events, festivals and all crowded places has practically quarantined all countries in the world. 

Meanwhile the authorities control this situation, we must stay at home and prevent to spread this virus more… we already understood it, now the question should be, what we could do while staying at home so much time?

Definitely there is a lot of activities you can do, but if you like music production, here are some positive news; Moog and Korg have made certain synth apps free in light of the coronavirus pandemic, this to keep you occupied, making music, enjoying the production. The iOS versions of the Minimoog Model D and the Korg Kaossilator can now be downloaded free of charge. Read below. 


Moog has waived charges for its Minimoog Model D iOS app for iPhone and iPad. Released in 2018, the app captures the original circuitry and look of the influential Minimoog, which was first released in 1970.

Korg, meanwhile, has done the same for its Kaossilator apps for iOS and Android. 

The company said \”To help you with a musical way to occupy your mind we have decided to make the Kaossilator app for iOS and Android free of charge for a limited time (iOS version: through March 31, 2020. Android version: From March 13 to March 20, 2020).\”
