Something good has to be happening when you realize that in scenes like ours in Guatemala, that have been under construction since a while now, the promoters keep looking to constantly develop high quality events, and the best comes when they reach goals, keeping their own vision and feelings for music, in this particular case, for techno music.
You know, when something good is happening, automatically, the good news start coming. That is so true, specially when you find out that The Future Sound and Freakquency Productions, -two promoters based in Guatemala City, got together and made possible to bring an artist from another level, for this occasion i would say, a very influential artist in our scene, you\’ll see why.
This guys teamed up and prepared a really special event with a very special guest. This special guest is someone with a highly acclaimed series of original tracks released on renowned labels such as Sci + Tec, Suara, Definitive Recordings, Terminal M, Pornographic Recordings, 1605, Octopus, 100% Pure, Deeperfect, Stereo Productions just to name a few. It\’s also someone that has performed all over Europe in countries like Germany, Spain, Netherlands, France, Austria, Czech Republic, Italy, Greece, Slovenia, England, Scotland, Hungary, Bulgaria, Belgium to name a few, also in America in countries like USA, Colombia, México, Costa Rica, Canada and now GUATEMALA.
We know that you already know who we are talking about, but we had to make this introduction, it is the Bosnian DJ and producer, Mladen Tomic.
Thats right, Mladen Tomic will land Guatemala soon in what will be a phenomenal night filled out with the most important thing, techno music at its finest. We mean it, with a lot of surprises, and the presentation of a high caliber headliner that has won the hearts of clubbers across the globe, this party will be for the records.
The appointment is scheduled for Saturday, February 8 opening doors at 16:00 hrs in this location: \”Jardin Las Margaritas Road to Barcenas (read below for full details)\”; The party will have the participation of several national artists who have currently demonstrated good technique and musical selection lately.
Accompanying Mladen Tomic in this epic event will be a very outstanding line up of national artists, both young and broadly experienced, such as Paul Mz, Tektonauts, Cuessi, Dimitrius, Hector Roman, Urqui, Mr Warpaint, Black Dot, Luisfer Leal, Workleft, Soultech (Sv), DRK and Carlos Toledo, also have the collaboration of Decologyk in the decoration and Collective Oniroide in the video mapping for a complete audiovisual experience.

Mladen is characterized by a hypnotic sound of techno and tech-house, enhanced with powerful groove lines and bass with a strong personal touch, whether in production, mixing or remixing. His personal work is recognized and supported by prominent artists and owners of famous record labels such as Dubfire, Richie Hawtin, John Acquaviva, Monika Kruse, Umek, Popof, Adam Beyer, Stefano Noferini and others, which has catapulted him among the best. It has opened the doors of the most prestigious clubs and festivals in the world. To close the lineup we have a lot of national talent, both young and broadly experienced, so you don\’t stop dancing at any time.
