Hey, we know everyone here will always choose techno, so we keep researching for the finest sound. In that research, we just discover some \”UK techno\” beats that we pretty like it. It is electronic music with some oldschool grooves we used to enjoy back in the day.
So, to get to the point, we are talking about UK techno stalwart Benjamin Damage, someone whos roots lie firmly within the UK’s underground. Drawing from early rave to jungle to nineties house, Benjamin’s non-purist approach to techno produces an energy and emotion rarely found in modern electronic music.
Now, Benjamin under the name BDB (a collaborative alias with anonymous label mates) is making his debut on Feel My Bicep records, unveiling two original tracks, a dub and a handy tool make up the 16th release on the label.
The release has been entitled \”Boss Rhythm / Niio Rhythm EP\” and the official release date is scheduled up to December 6th, 2019 in 12” / Digital Formats. Our favorite track of this release is \”Niio Rhythm\”, a very melodic journey through a lot of beat and dramatic sounds that will definitely chill your mind and transmit energy into your body, nice rhythm on that one.

It is with great excitement that Feel My Bicep welcome Benjamin Damage into the fold. As the first release on popular Berlin label 50Weapons, Damage’s critically acclaimed album Obsidian was the label’s last release before it shut down. He was quickly signed by R&S records, releasing two EPs with them (Montreal and Malfunction).
He is also due to release a 4-track EP on Len Faki’s label Figure on 11 Nov, as well as an EP on ARTS in 2020. His characteristically emotional and energetic take on techno is evident in these two original tracks ‘Boss Rhythm’ and ‘Niio Rhythm’.
