From the electro-influenced intensity of ‘Radio Hell’ to the melody infused techno of ‘Lost Souls’, ‘This is Radio Hell’ is a release worthy of its creators’ reputations as two of the most recognisable names in dance music over the past few decades and beyond. With both tracks clocking in at over 11 minutes, the release is epic in every sense of the word and is a fitting 200th release celebration for a label that has hosted some of the finest names in house and techno since its inception in 2006.

DJ Hell, founder of International Deejay Gigolo, curator of the Museum of Modern Electronic Music, DJ since the late 1970s and acclaimed producer, is an icon of modern dance music and culture. Drawing lines between photography, art, design, fashion and music, Hell has worked with Sven Marquardt, Tom of Finland, Balenciaga, lectured at the Munich Chamber of Architects and created his own fragrance, all whilst holding down residencies at Tresor, E-Work and Watergate throughout his career.

Radio Slave, aka Matt Edwards, is responsible for some of the most recognisable techno tracks in the genre, including ‘Grindhouse’, ‘Don’t Stop No Sleep’, ‘Another Club’, and many other timeless cuts. His collaboration work with Joel Martin as Quiet Village and solo work as Rekid has received critical acclaim, and he remains one of the most in-demand and consistent remixers around.

Rekids is one of electronic music’s most bankable imprints, having played host to the likes of Nina Kraviz, Robert Hood, Joe Claussell, Mr. G, DJ Deep, Theo Nasa and Alinka. Reaching its 200th release, Matt Edwards’ imprint shows no signs of slowing down, with forthcoming releases from Mark Broom, A Sagittariun, and Roman Flugel scheduled for 2022.
