Scarper offers up another solid release of varying tempos & styles with his new 3-track EP ‘Fyretone‘, due out April 7, 2022.
The title track has UK-funky influenced rhythms providing a backdrop for a melodic workout, with some dub, rave & ambient thrown in for good measure. Hunker Down, titled as such because it was written during the first lockdown of 2020, is a fast paced slice of melodic braindance, with fizzy digital synths playing melancholic, bittersweet hooks. Southpaw Slew is a mellower affair: a mid-tempo, breakbeat vibe with funky digital bass, lush strings & distressed, wobbly synth patterns.
