After racking up releases on Token, Rekids’ RSPX and Enemy, Marcal’s EP for Hardgroove sees the producer/DJ delivering pacey but funky warehouse cuts.

The jacking, stan driven ‘Neuropeptide’ is a high impact opener, while the percussively frenetic ‘The Only Way is Forward’ keeps things warm with a looping wine wave riff. ‘Staircase’ follows with a choppy stomp defined by its tom-driven roll and detuned synth percussion before Marcal teams up with fellow Brazilians Invie and Gabal for ‘Same Address, a rousing closer with ‘4 am’ Banger written all over it.
