Dubspeeka returns to Korpus 9 with Frankyeffe and Tom Hades on remix duties.

This is another techno masterpiece, that of course has been cooked in one of the labels that has become one of our favorites recently. Probably because has promoted big techno releases, and we had noticed, that’s what we all love. We are talking of Russian label Korpus 9.

2019 has been massive for the label, with their Anabiosis Injection compilation collection a great success. This time they are bringing Dubspeeka to the fore. Although notoriously elusive and reticent, his narrative is derived from his music and driven forward by the esteem he has garnered in the electronic music community. The Bristol native is known for his high-level productions, scintillating DJ sets, and heading his label Skeleton Recordings.

This upcoming release features two original pieces from Dubspeeka, while one of them, \’Halloran\’, gets the re-work treatment from Frankyeffe and Tom Hades. Italian Frankyeffe released his Eterea EP on Yoshitoshi Recordings last year; while Belgian Tom Hades is coming off his Acrab EP, imprinted by Korpus 9 this year.

Overview. Korpus 9 welcome dubspeeka for more of his perfectly spaced out techno sounds, while Frankyeffe and Tom Hades remix to make for another vital package.
Opener Halloran is a surging track built on silky loops and mind melting synth lines. It‘s cinematic and evocative and will get the whole club under its spell. The Frankyeffe remix is darker and harder hitting, with siren like pulses and edgy pads all keeping you in a sense of unease as you march forwards. Tom Hades then strips things back to a hypnotic groove, with icy pads and rubbery drums enchanting you as it journeys on through space. Last of all, War Drum is a deep and mysterious cut with more house vibes dominating.
This is another fantastic EP from dubspeeka.
