Is that exciting time of the year to announce that Berlin Atonal festival returns to the iconic Kraftwerk complex this September 7-17th, 2023 for its first official edition in four years.
The festival unveils an expansion, now spreading across 11 days including two full weekends of program, allowing for a wider and more comprehensive selection of new commissioned works, world premiere performances, artistic interventions and late night music offerings. Additionally, the festival will become a biennale, with the next edition taking place in 2025.

Since 2019, Berlin Atonal organised the transformational Metabolic Rift exhibition as well as the X100 Festival dedicated to the legacy of composer Iannis Xenakis, both in which allowed the curational team to expand their vision of how an audience can engage with the arts. Now the festival returns to its core mission of producing and presenting musical performances and artistic projects on a large scale and at the highest level of the cultural conversation.
As in previous editions, the festival will activate the entire Kraftwerk Berlin building, transforming the former power-plant into a monumental stage for the presentation of artistic projects at the cutting edge of experimental and artistic cultures.

At the beginning of July the first acts will be announced, also further programme details and tickets packages.
“We are gearing up for the biggest and best Berlin Atonal yet.” said the organizers.
For now, tickets are on sale in 3 categories. (Go here for ticktets) The Full Festival Pass allows unrestricted access to the Kraftwerk complex for the duration of the 11 day event. Two more ticket types allow access specifically to the weekend programmes (Weekend Passes 1 and 2) cover the periods between Thursday 07.09 to Saturday 09.09 and Friday 15.09 to Sunday 17.09 respectively, including afterparties.
