Insolate‘s upcoming EP titled “It Always Hurts In The End” is a tempestuous journey into the puzzling realm of human emotions – lavished with rawness, deepness and distortions.
It contains three original tracks and three remixes by techno giants Benjamin Damage, Truncate and Cri du Coeur. The EP will be released on May 1st, 2022 on Cri du Coeur’s forward-thinking techno label, Arkham Audio.
The EP kicks off with title track “It Always Hurts in the End”, a fiery and complex tune powered by an explosive kick and reflective, echoing sounds. Cri Du Coeur’s version of the title track offers a Detroit Techno sound, adding an uplifiting house-like riff and a sticky bass destined to make crowds dance.
Next up is “Wonderful Life”, a trancey club track featuring trippy bells, a groovy bass, classic techno hi hats and a dash of distortion. Truncate’s remix gets deeper, as he incorporates extra layers of dark trippy synths.
“Trust Kills” is a dark acid techno banger with sparks of distorted, echoing bells. Benjamin Damage offers a minimal techno remix of this last original – a deeply mesmeric version, both in its intense drumline and teetering synths.
