Following 2020’s ‘Analog Fragment’ compilation, which featured Sunil Sharpe, Endlec and more, as well as 2021’s ‘Seeker Of Revenge’ with SNTS and HEX’s Paolo Ferrara & Lorenzo Raganzini on remix duties, Alderic Records returns in 2022 with another fiery techno EP. Featuring three original tracks from label founder Arweenn and a remix from Perc Trax boss Perc, the release is a no-holds-barred masterclass in heavy, grinding techno.
‘Slew Of Succession’ kicks off with trippy vocals before a devastating series of heaving kick drums and synths generate pure sonic decimation. Perc’s remix follows, with the London-based DJ/producer injecting his brand of hard-hitting techno, adding modulating sample chops and chunky percussion to the original.
On the flip, ‘Evolution Of Faces’ leads the B-side with growling bass and melodic flourishes interplaying throughout the track. ‘Rises The Red Moon’ closes out the release, beginning with a drawn-out stretch of eerie ambience before leading the listener through a daring and ever-changing arrangement through various colours and moods.
