Shifted Minds is the new moniker from Sweden’s Mikael Persson aka UBX127 who almost exclusively releases on Len Faki’s Figure and Figure SPC, but has also recently appeared on TWR72’s new label OOM Records. Voices‘, a six track EP delivered for Tresor, sees Vines approaching his finest form. Misty, breathtaking atmospheres and distorted vocals waft like murmuring ghosts across concrete floors, trailed by columns of light and beings from another realm. Broken kicks, halftime snares, outer-world synthetic tones and interlocking bass-heavy polyrhythms abound, combining to create a boundary-pushing take on the techno blueprint.

Origins is the new release series by Feral Note that follows a contemporary perspective on traditions and folk songs. The series that starts with S’Agapo focuses on music pieces and sounds which were present in the unconsciousness of artists since childhood. Their connection to the modern day is emphasized through electroacoustic production, remixes and visual art.

The new Monobox album, ‘Regenerate‘ creates an all-enveloping story from its opening chapter and the atmospheric ‘Rise’. Stripped-back tribalism ensues with ‘Blackwater Canal’ before the ominous ‘Wargames’, while ‘Angel City’ brings a lighter, sparkling touch. Disc two delivers the gritty ‘Exoplanet’ running at over nine minutes as it gradually draws you in, then flip over for the sweeping grooves of ‘Drydock’. The album closes on the album’s title track where vintage melodies sit alongside techno futurism.

This EP sees Enyang Ha collaborating with System Records by Julien Bracht. Having mastered some of the most innovative releases of this decade for Amnesia Scanner and Arca this EP is without a doubt the beginning of something that pushes the boundary of music beyond the current scope. A well traveled person from having lived in Japan, Korea and the USA as a teenager Enyang emigrated to Berlin in her twenties to tap into a new scene and sound unique to the city.  The EP “1997” contains three tracks that completes a full journey of sound.

Amaliah hits the circuit with the release of her new outstanding 2-track EP, that came out the past november 5, 2021 on her new and recently launched label, Borne Fruits. The new masterpiece has been entitled ‘Borne Fruits 001’ and showcases top notch tunes. Amaliah said this record was inspired by her “fav space in the whole wide world—the club!”
